Expedition to Caldey Island March 2008

For the March 2008 2m and 70cm contest some of the members of the group will be going to Caldey Island.

Weather permitting, the Luton VHF Group plan to activate Caldey, one of the Welsh Islands, off the coast of Tenby, Pembrokeshire, IO71PP, WAB SS19, during the March 1st/2nd 2008 2m and 70cm RSGB contest, using GW3SVJ/P, as a precursor to a much longer and larger expedition during the first week of September. If requested, WAB and IOTA information can be exchanged during the contest. Operators G1JCC, G4LBH, G4LOO and G4UEM will be logging onto ON4KST with the club or their own callsigns when active on VHF or HF.
