UHF/SHF Contest October 6th & 7th 2007

 

 

We were at IO91RU and QRV on:

70cm, running 400W into 4 x 19 element Tonna antennas. Because the generator would not supply full load we reduced to 100W during the contest. We made 51 QSOs with best DX being DL8QS, JO43KH, 657km. Adjudicated result 4th place in the 70cm open section.

23cm, running 25W into 4 x 36 element Tonna antennas. We made 30 QSOs with best DX being F/OK4W/P, JN38OJ, 673km. Adjudicated result 4th place in the 23cm open section.

13cm, running 10W into a 44 element quad loop yagi. We made 10 QSOs with best DX being G3LRP, IO93HO, 203km. Adjudicated result 3rd place in the 13cm open section.

9cm, running 14W into a 57 element quad loop yagi. We made 5 QSOs with best DX being G8IFT/P, IO82QL, 159km. Adjudicated result 3rd place in the 9cm open section.

6cm, running 1W into a 17dBd flat plate antenna. We made 1 crossband QSO with best DX being G8IFT/P, IO82QL, 159km. Adjudicated result 3rd place in the 6cm open section.

3cm, running 10W into a 50cm dish. We made 6 QSOs with best DX being G3LRP, IO93HO, 203km. Adjudicated result 3rd place in the 3cm open section.
